February 15, 2006What kind did you order? any pics of the wheels, what brand? Pics man Pics? LOL
I have been thinking about going to 19 or 20's in the rear, just not sure yet. I would like to fill the wheel well in the back a little more.
February 16, 2006how can i post pix ill do it manana.i dont have the 20 in the rear yet.jus 18 akuzas w 40 series tires.
February 16, 2006Good decision not to run 20's in the front. You would have to modify the strut assembly for a clean ride. I also seen 22's in the rear. Can't wait for the pics also.
July 19, 2007i bought my car on the 7th and just installed 18x8 +40 with 225/40-18 front and 20x8.5 +38 with 255/35-20 rear, but no drop yet. i am still up in the air about the drop. i wanted the eibach to level it, but now with the wheels on, i am leaning towards the h&r's to keep the rake. i hope to have some pics shortly.
July 24, 2007That would scare the Hell out of me - I cracked one 16" rim, and dented another - which was saved - 18 or 20" would have me a nervous wreck!
Not much rubber between the rim and road at those diameters!
July 24, 2007I am with you QSD...but it will look SOOOOOOOO cool!!!!
I love the look, but I hit too many wonderful potholes here in Riverside. IT seems like everyday they tear up another road and all of a sudden BAM! I am praying my rims are still in one piece. These old Katana's are VERY strong!!! I guess I got lucky in that respect...I hit one yesterday that would have snapped a 20" wheel in half....
August 23, 2007I with you QSD on this one, around here where I live a 30 series tire would not work. The 50 series that I am putting on tomorrow would be the lowest profile that I would go.
PS Should get the new wheels and rubber tomorrow. Photos to follow.
