April 20, 2006Anybody try the Gibson sideswept?
April 20, 2006It would be different on a PT, but then you'd have a least one oval cutout on the rear valance that would look like a mouse hole/without a mouse.
April 20, 2006They call it "sideswept" because the exhaust tip exits out the side of the car right behind the rear wheel.
April 21, 2006But if you go on the website it shows the PT exiting the rear...Which kind of surprised me...
April 21, 2006Maybe they know about the "mouse hole" cutout in the back and make their exhaust for the PT so it uses the same exit. So even though it's called "SideSwept" it'll exit "OutBack", not to be confused with the Australian eatery.

Hey, Confusion is is usually my job here....lol
April 21, 2006I thought the same at first, but as I read about them a little I noticed at least in some cases it exited at or near the same place as OEM.
You can go to the web site and listen to a few examples. The calim there is no drone at all.
How long will an aluminized steel sys last? I know ss lasts forever.
February 20, 2012Should I take off Gibson exhaust that came on my truck and change for dual exhaust. If yes should I have duals with a muffler or straight pipes, exhaust cutout, no muffler?
