May 3, 2006It's easy. Hardest part is fitting the intake hose onto the turbo - a long reach. Wait'll you hear the difference! You can hear it "breathe".
May 3, 2006I got it done...w00t.... too me some time but the hardest thing for me was that stupid heat strip...it was hard for me to mold that thing round the angled corners...akkkkkk
May 3, 2006I forgot to add, that yes, I can feel a big difference in acceleration that I could before.... after doing this, I may never be able to by a stock car again...or at least keep it stock...now for eithe ther the down pipe or stage two....Father's Day is coming..ahahahah
May 3, 2006Sorry, a 2-3 hp gain is impossible to feel. There is no Stage 2 for the PT turbo. If you go for the 3" downpipe then do the 3" o2 housing and a 2 1/2" flow through exhaust at the same time. This will open up the exhaust system and make your turbo spool faster. You'll also gain 10-15 whp. If you want to go for Stage 2 hp/tq numbers you will also need a boost gauge, Stage 1, an AGP wga and a dual stage boost controller.
