July 17, 2006I am running Fuzion ZRi's and couldn't be happier...225/45/17 front and 245/40/17's in the rear. I have to say I am surprized how well these things handle for such an affordable tire....Just curoius what ya'll are running and what you find to be the best for the money!!!

July 17, 2006I was running Toyo Proxes 4 tires on my '03 GT. Great all seasons tires that really gripped the road with very little noise. I'll be getting more Toyo's when I replace the tires on my SRT-4.
July 17, 2006I have the stock 17" Goodyear's that came on our GT. They have 17,000 miles. Not real pleased with them and not great in rain.
When it gets time to replace I will certainly look for another brand. Had luck in the past with Dunlop Sport A2's and Kumhos on our 93' corvette.
About 6 months ago I had a big fight with Nissan over our 04 Maxima. Always had a shake in front end at 60 mph. They finally authorized the Goodyear's to be removed and replaced with Michelin Pilot Sports. The difference has been day and night.
Hope this helps.
July 17, 2006Michelin HydroEdge's and I Luv Em. Quiet, smooth and great handling.
July 17, 2006Hankook 215/45R17 87h Love them.
July 18, 2006Kumho SOLUS KH16, 205/55/R16.
Much better grip and handling and super quiet compared to the OEM Goodyears.
July 18, 2006I am running 15" goodyear Viva2s on mine, I know they are nothing fancy campared to some of ya'll but right now i cannot afford anything else, plus i plan on staying in 15s i like the size plus my feeling the more rubber meeting the ground the better, I am not a fan of low profile tires. I will probably the next tire change get some wide white walls for my vintage look
July 18, 2006FWC..Yeah..whitewalls would look awesome on your PT..I know what you mean about cash flow....tough sell trying to get more mods when I have four rugrats!! But, I wouldn't change a thing.

Do the fronts rub when you turn the wheels tight to one side? I want to put 245's on the front of mine too.
July 20, 2006No problems PTdaddy2. Man does this thing stay in the road!! BIG BIG difference from the 15's to the 17teens. Waited too too long for this change.
