October 2, 2006Not worth the money. It won't do anything for your car. The OEM coil is more than adequate. Spend your money on a mod you can use.
October 4, 2006lol have you put it on your car?!
I got one a couple weeks ago olong with new wires and plugs...and let me tell you on the GT it DEFINITLY HELPS also the not carb aproved only pertains to cali I believe
wait....I just desided to edit this because I found your in cali lol
October 4, 2006Wouldn't put it in my car. It's already been confirmed by ASE certified Techs and DCX engineers that an aftermarket coil is a waste of money. I know people running over 400 hp on the GT and over 500 hp on the SRT-4 with the OEM coil. There is also the problem of the SD coil melting on the turbo because of the extra heat the turbo produces. The joke on the SRT Forums is if using an aftermarket coil then carry the OEM coil with you because you never know when the aftermarket one will fail.
Actually I'm in Oregon. We don't worry about CARB approved here.
October 4, 2006I don't doubt that replacing plugs, wires, and coil helped, but the coil part of that did squat. Put the original coil back and see for yourself. Your butt won't feel any difference.
