Ah, well I bought the Mopar 5 year 100,000 mile stuff for 18.50 a gallon minus tax mixed with a 1.09 bottle of distilled water 2 gallon and I will see what that does.
I think I may need a flush, the manual say I was suppose to have this done at 60,000 I missed that and I'm now at 63500.
Checked the coolant as Don said to do from another forum post and all was fine. Run the PT up to hot and the reservoir tank didn't budge. In the manual it states that when the PT is running HOT the reservoir tank should go change levels and be at the HOT FULL Line, but it wasn't, its just stayed at the ADD line.
So now I'm back at square one, I think I need to replace my thermostat and get a flush. I guess I'm going to research all that stuff now. Have to research the how to of each.
As far as Coolants and distilled waters and
all I know is if it has a more protectant quality to it, I will use it. I went to syntec Castrol for that matter, I run the PT up to 4,000 miles between changes and comes out looking like my 3,000 with standard oil. You also have to remember this is FL, where summer is like 90 and the rode is like 110. I run the PT hard 65+ to work everyday, so I need the extra protection.
