June 12, 2007I received my plasmaglow 2.1 million LED kit yesterday. I installed the bulbs in a couple of hours and did the wiring today off and on since it was about 90 outside. Really easy kit to install considering I'm still pretty new at this wiring stuff. I'm really satisfied with these LED's. I took a few pics before it got too dark to take anymore. Now I'm ready for cruise night here in town Friday night!!!! Let me know what you guys think. .... .... .... .... ....
June 13, 2007WOW Jeff, I am glad they came in, I thought that they were lost in shipping or worse!!! and just in time for the Show. They look good.
June 13, 2007I lucked out Dave, turns out they were signed late Saturday and I called the post office Monday and they said they had a package in for me.
June 14, 2007nice set up, I love mine. one ??? I got the 4.2 million leds from them could you get a close up of the glow I want to compare if thier is a dif. also on the controller is it a touch screen or buttons???thxs.
June 16, 2007I'll take a close up of the glow at sundown in the next couple of days. As far as the controller, it's a LCD touch screen about 3 inches across with a power button, speed control, color button, and a mode button. Also on the top is a display of the patterns the lights are doing, just can't tell what color it's on unless you look under.
Just got back from a cruise night in Fort Gibson, wow was I the show of the night. There were a couple of others with underbody kits but looked like neon, so many people were amazed with what I had. Now today, I'm off to the car show, will post pics soon.
July 2, 2007I have 2.1 million Plasma glow also I love them does yours have a remote?
July 3, 2007I didn't get the remote since I bid this on ebay. I think I can upgrade though. I'm not too pleased with the LCD touch screen though, it freezes up every now and then. Has anyone else had problems with this?? Maybe I'll contact plasmaglow and see if I could get a replacement.
July 3, 2007I wish I had a LCD touch screen
July 4, 2007So all you have to change your modes and colors is the remote?? Does it work pretty well?? The LCD screen is ok, the cord is pretty long, about 8 feet, so you can see what you are doing. You can easilly tuck the cord under the center console or glovebox, depending where you installed the control box. If I remember, I'll take some pics of the LCD screen too.
July 5, 2007The LCD is of the devil I learned that if I put the car on and then turn the lights on and put what color/mode I want, then start the car and hit the power button again it comes on to that sitting. Its the only way I can get it to come on.
July 6, 2007Did your's come with a separate switch to turn off the power? If mine freezes I just turn it off and turn it back on. It does tell you about a memory in it, if you turn off the lights and you turn them back on it will stay on the last setting. Are you having problems changing modes after that?? May want to send plasmaglow an email stating these problems with the LCD screen, their tech support is really helpful. May be able to get a new LCD screen all together.
I tried to post some new pics of my 2.1 mill kit with my new nightraider scanner I put behind my grill. But it seems we are having problems with the galleries right now, will try again tomorrow morning and put under my l.e.d.s & neons album.
