June 27, 2007Well, I found an exhaust shop that assembled and installed a Magnaflow 2.5" cat back single exhaust system. Really cool becuase I wanted to keep the stealth stock look. I like the sound and so far no drone, but I will update as I get some miles on her.
June 28, 2007Wow, congrats on the new mod to the race PT!!!! Sounds like you're gonna sneak up on them and blow away the competition!!!! I know you just got the race PT but have you done any other mods to it yet or others coming soon??
Later man, Jeff.
June 28, 2007Very cool!!! I am so jealous......not one, not teo, but THREE PT's...Awesome!!
Time to shave the GT emblem off th back (if you haven't already)....WTG!!

I might shave the emblems when I do repaint her someday.......
July 2, 2007I took Sleeping Beauty out to the track on Saturday and turned a great 1/4 mile time of 14.53 at over 97 mph. This was on lower boost since I still have 2-3 PSI left to bump it up with......
July 3, 2007very nice jeff how well did it do
July 3, 2007Here is a small summary of how the day went:
Well, it was hot. When I left the track with Matt and Jo the air temp was at 98 degrees and the track temp as measured by MiO was at least 148 degrees. I know it was going to be hot but I decided that now was going to be as good a time as any other to test out Sleeping Beauty.
Well, Jo and I line up to the water box and neither one of us gets any tire smoke and my run showed it:
R/T: .315-yeah asleep doesn't describe how I suddenly was mentally overloaded driving a 5 speed instead of the Autostick on TribalGT
60': 2.436-slipping all the way...
Okay run #1 sucked and I was not real happy, but I figured to turn up the bosst controller a notch and drive better the next round including not taking forever to shift....
R/T: .202-This time I get this computer tweaked diesel crew cab truck that I know is stupid fast....
60': 2.310-a little better, but not much...
Now that was a time that I could live with and I felt good about beating the stupid fast diesel and I have a good number to tune with, so onto run #3.
R/T: .124-The shaker hood mustang redlighted trying to out hole shot me. He was only a little faster...
60': 2.247 improving as the operator got said slicks to heat up...
I was thrilled that I got my best run in the heat and at the end of the day. Amazing. A big thank you to Matt and Jo for hanging out until I finished and helping me pack up. Now that Sleeping Beauty has some base runs, the PowerPac, Wideband, and more boost adjustment can begin and hopefully I can hit a 13......
