September 8, 2008Question--I have a 2000 PT Cruiser Limited 2.0 with 37,800 miles Quite a few years low milage what do you all think about timeing belt service, runs like new no noise would hate to scatter the topend. etc. Andy

Problem is, regardless of mileage, the car and working parts are 8 years old. That may somewhat modify the "normal mileage" at which you replace things.

I wouldn't think that would be a problem in theory, but not exactly sure either! Good question! I know at some point and time, it becomes a seriously big issue at a set amount of miles to avoid trouble! I'm sitting on a little over 52,000 on mine, so I know I'm getting closer!
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
